The “Training Program for Teachers and Educational Managers and Principals in Angola – 2016” is the result of a partnership between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Angola and Focus Education.
This training program is intended for teachers and educational directors and principals of the professional and technical education subsystem. The project’s collaborative design involves officials from the Ministry of Education, particularly the National Directorate of Professional Technical Education and also the Directorates and Coordination of institutes, which will host the training.
This innovative program involves 1,440 teachers and 580 directors and school principals. The teachers who will participate in the training will come from technical schools across Angola will have at their disposal a wide range of training actions, tailor-made for the different areas of training offered by the Technical-Professional Education, with a strong didactics component for innovative management of the curriculum in the classroom, and a strong component of practical application, technical and technological. Directors and School Managers will also participate in seminars and training meetings on relevant themes and innovative solutions for a continuous updating and qualification of their practices.
